Lugo is privileged to have extraordinary natural surroundings, ideally suited for trekking or cycling. It is easy to find one that suits your interests among the 24 km. of trekking paths along the banks of the river.

These routes crisscross areas of natural, historic and cultural interest are also very close to the centre of a city of nearly 100,000 inhabitants.

The route called "Miño aberto, río abaixo" ("Open Miño, Down the River") is accessible for children and the disabled; everybody can enjoy strolling along this path in the Biosphere Reserve.
